A few months ago, we came across a place at the very end of Soi 11 in Bangkok.
Hidden in a small dead-end street, away from the noise and the movement, it immediately felt different. Quiet and peaceful, almost unexpected for such a well known area.
This is where Art 11 Gallery began.
The space itself is a four floor townhouse with a rooftop terrace.
Spacious, filled with light, and already carrying a certain charm. It is the kind of place that does not need to be reinvented, only revealed.
There is even a small elevator, which we decided to keep for practical reasons, but also because it somehow fits the personality of the place.
From the beginning, our intention was not to create just another gallery.
We imagined something more fluid.
A place where art naturally coexists with everyday moments.
A space where you can spend time without rushing, have a drink upstairs or inside, come alone or meet others, and stay for an hour or for an entire evening.
Something closer to a feeling than a traditional concept.
We are now getting close to bringing everything together.
Before sharing the final result, we wanted to go back to the beginning and offer a glimpse of how it all started.
The following images capture the space as we first found it. Raw, untouched, and full of potential.
This is only the beginning.
We will share more soon about the vision, the artists, and what Art 11 Gallery is becoming.
