Art 11 Gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in Bangkok, dedicated to showcasing emerging and established artists. We aim to create a dynamic space where art, culture, and community meet through curated exhibitions and engaging events.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and well-presented Gallery Assistant & Events Coordinator to support the daily operations of the gallery and contribute to the development of our exhibitions and events.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in the art world.
Key Responsibilities
Gallery Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day management of the gallery during opening hours
- Welcome visitors and provide information about artworks, artists, and the gallery
- Support sales by advising clients and presenting artworks professionally
Art Handling & Logistics
- Assist with artwork management (inventory, photography, coordination with framing suppliers, etc.)
- Support exhibition setup and maintenance
Events & Marketing Support
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing gallery events
- Be present during events and ensure a high-quality guest experience
- Coordinate with media, partners, and influencers when needed
- Support communication around exhibitions, launches, and events
Social Media & Communication
- Help maintain and update the gallery’s social media platforms
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams on content and announcements
Relationship Management
- Facilitate interactions between artists, vendors, and clients
- Contribute to building a strong network within the art and creative community
Profile & Requirements
- Thai national
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Flexible and proactive attitude
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in art galleries, events, hospitality, or creative industries
- Interest in contemporary art and culture
- Chinese language skills are a plus, but not required
Working Conditions
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
- Flexible schedule (fixed presence required during gallery opening hours and events)
